Beads have been a part of my life for many years. I used them in many ways while teaching middle school students and also when buying and selling antique jewelry.

In 1996 I had the chance to make my own beads. In 1997 I went to corning studio of glass to study with Paul Stankard. He taught me to strive for a level of excellence that I hope one day to achieve. Since then, I have explored many avenues in the world of art glass and continue to combine my love of nature with my love of melting glass.

I grew up in NYC and gleaned the cultural diversity and excitement that it offers but I always yearned to be where nature would surround me. I have scuba dived around the world and hiked many beautiful places. I now live in the shadow of the Shawangunk mountains. They serve me well with their ever changing inspiring views.

My beads have won several national awards and were chosen to represent the International Society of Glass Beadmakers in several national shows. My beads have been published in several national magazines and many books on beads.
